Bishop Gideon Adjei and his wife, Denise are founders of ADJEI MINISTRIES & EVANGELISTIC NETWORK (A.M.E.N.), an international evangelistic organization based in Houston, Texas. “SANKOFA: A Global Reunion” is an outreach ministry of A.M.E.N. We are strategically positioning our evangelistic ministry to service areas in the United States, Europe, Central and South America, West, and East and South Africa.
Though officially non-denominational, A.M.E.N. has relationships with a variety of local religious organizations affiliated with the Southern Baptist, Christian Methodist Episcopal , African Methodist Episcopal , Anglican, United Methodist , National Network of Youth Ministries, Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, Council for African Indigenous Churches, Roman Catholic, Nuevo Pacto (New Covenant) Churches and Jewish organizations such as Hear O’ Israel, the Nathaniel center, and International Christian Embassy of Jerusalem.
For nearly seven years, Bishop Gideon and Denise were Prayer Directors for the Houston market area, which includes the Woodlands, Sugar Land and Galveston for the Arkansas-based FAMILYLIFE, a Division of Campus Crusade for Christ.
Bishop Adjei was educated at North Carolina A&T State University, Texas A&M University, Oklahoma State University, the University of Arizona, and the University of Houston. Prior to his ordination, Bishop Adjei was an environmental consultant, university professor, businessman, motivational speaker, and author of several books.
His wife Denise was educated at Texas Southern University. Denise was an Instructor of Mathematics at Texas Southern University, has 26 years of city government experience, and has presently completed her Doctorate in Theology.
What We Believe:
* The Bible is one book, was inspired by God, and is without error. It is the basis of our authority, faith, conduct, and doctrine.
* There is one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe the name Yahshua, Yeshua, or Jesus all refer to the second person of the Trinity or Christ who is the Son of God. He came to this earth as Savior of the world.
* Christ died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We further believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Him, and Him only. We believe in His death, resurrection, and eventual return, as He promised.
* We believe water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in Him.
* We believe in partaking of the Holy Sacrament as often as we can in remembrance of Him. We believe in His sacrificial death on the cross for the redemption of our sins.
* We believe in total submission of body, soul and spirit to the will of God. We believe in being not only hearers but doers of His word. This means we yield to the power of the Holy Ghost, obey, believe, trust, have faith in, enjoy hearing, speaking , and praising the word which became flesh and dwelt among us. We further believe that our evangelistic zeal stems from the fact that if we are faithful in sharing the truth with others, then God will reveal new and deeper truths of His word to us.
* We believe in the power of prayer. We are convinced that whatsoever we ask, seek and Knock in the name of our Lord, and in the will of God we shall receive, and that nothing shall be impossible unto us.

This ministry is designed to help families rise above the challenges of marriage and family relationships. We base this on the sharing and correct interpretation of the divine blue print for marriage, writing and publication of original books that address pre-marital issues, issues related to blended families, family violence, communications, conflict resolution, proper nutrition, financial matters, impacts of physiological changes such as andropause and menopause on the marriage relationship. We believe it is time to get such issues out of the closet. The ultimate goal of this ministry is to encourage a family atmosphere where divorce does not become an option for the marrying couple. We will form ?Prayer Cells? within our service areas that encourage and intercede for families of interest through all night prayer meetings.
Spanish Ministry
A.M.E.N. is sensitive to the spiritual needs of our Hispanic brothers and sisters all over the world. We will reach out to them by sharing the messages of Victorious 21st Century Families and Faith Without Walls by partnering with Hispanic religious organizations.
Faith Without Walls
A.M.E.N. encourages its partners and associates to share the love of Christ with people all over the world. We accomplish these tasks through partnerships with various religious organizations, volunteerism, evangelism, and ministry. A major goal of this ministry is to equip the poor with the right technology to fight hunger, establish healthier standards of living, and create opportunities for healthy living through mentoring, economic demonstration projects, and proper nutrition.
